This Privacy Policy applies to all Users of the Platform, including Clients, Artists, and visitors.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Payformers Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the Platform. Where there is any inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions regarding the processing of personal information, this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

Payformers collects only the personal information that is reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, facilitate bookings, process payments, protect Users, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.
The information we collect depends on how you use the Platform.
2.1Account Information
When you register for a Payformers account, we may collect:

- Mobile number;
- Email address;
- Username or display name;
- Password (stored using secure encryption or hashing methods);
- Account verification status; and
- Other information reasonably necessary to create, maintain, and secure your account.
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information provided remains accurate and up to date.
2.2Identity Verification Information
To verify an Artist's identity, prevent fraud, maintain Platform security, and comply with applicable laws, Payformers may collect:
- Government-issued identification documents;
- Selfies or facial verification images;
- Date of birth;
- Residential address;
- Verification status; and
- Other information or documents reasonably necessary to complete our verification procedures.
Identity verification information is collected solely for legitimate purposes relating to identity verification, fraud prevention, Platform security, and legal compliance.
Facial verification images are used only to verify identity and help prevent fraudulent accounts. They are not used for facial recognition, advertising, profiling, or any unrelated commercial purpose unless separately disclosed or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
2.3Profile Information
Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect information that you choose to publish on your profile, including:
- Profile photograph;
- Biography or profile description;
- Stage name;
- Talent category or categories;
- Portfolio photographs and videos;
- Service Packages;
- Talent Fees;
- Availability schedule;
- Service locations;
- Languages spoken;
- Event preferences; and
- Other information you voluntarily choose to publish.
Information published on your public profile may be visible to other Users of the Platform.
2.4Booking and Payment Information
To facilitate bookings, payments, payouts, and other Platform services, we may collect:
- Booking Requests;
- Booking details;
- Booking status;
- Event information;
- Payment records;
- Billing information;
- Payout information;
- Transaction history;
- Booking completion confirmations;
- Refund records;
- Dispute records; and
- Other information reasonably necessary to administer bookings and related services.
Where payments are processed by authorized third-party payment providers, Payformers does not store complete debit card, credit card, electronic wallet credentials, or other sensitive payment credentials processed directly by those providers.
2.5Communications
We may collect information relating to communications made through the Platform, including:
- Booking Chat messages;
- Customer support requests;
- Reports and complaints;
- Appeals;
- Dispute submissions; and
- Other communications voluntarily submitted to Payformers.
Booking Chat is provided solely to facilitate communication relating to confirmed bookings.
To promote user safety and reduce fraud, Booking Chat contains safeguards designed to restrict the sharing of certain information, including:
- External website links;
- Email addresses;
- Mobile numbers;
- Social media accounts;
- QR codes; and
- Other contact information intended to facilitate transactions outside the Platform.
Booking Chat remains available for up to forty-eight (48) hours after the scheduled event. After this period, conversations become read-only and no additional messages may be exchanged through the Platform.
2.6Reviews and Ratings
We collect reviews, ratings, and feedback submitted by Clients following completed bookings.
Reviews and ratings help improve marketplace quality, promote transparency, support Artist reputation, and assist other Clients when making booking decisions.
2.7Device and Usage Information
When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device type;
- Operating system;
- Browser type;
- IP address;
- Device identifiers;
- Log information;
- Usage activity;
- Crash reports; and
- Diagnostic information reasonably necessary to maintain, secure, and improve the Platform.
2.8Location Information
With your permission, or where reasonably necessary for Platform functionality, Payformers may collect approximate or precise location information to:
- Help Clients discover nearby Artists;
- Display location-based search results;
- Facilitate bookings;
- Prevent fraud;
- Improve Platform security; and
- Support other location-based Platform features.
Users may control location permissions through their device settings, although disabling location services may limit certain Platform features.
2.9Information from Third Parties
Where permitted by applicable law, Payformers may receive personal information from trusted third-party providers, including:
- Payment service providers;
- Identity verification providers;
- Fraud prevention services;
- Mapping and location providers;
- Analytics providers; and
- Other technology partners supporting the operation of the Platform.
Information received from third parties will be processed only for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Payformers processes personal information only for lawful, fair, transparent, and legitimate purposes necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Platform.

- Create and manage your account;

- Enable Artist profiles and Client accounts;
- Publish Artist profiles and Service Packages;
- Process Booking Requests;
- Facilitate communication between Clients and Artists through Booking Chat;
- Confirm bookings after successful payment;
- Process Talent Fees, Booking Fees, Service Fees, refunds, and Artist payouts;
- Track booking status throughout the booking lifecycle;
- Manage booking completion;
- Provide customer support; and
- Deliver other Platform features and services.
We process only the information reasonably necessary to perform these services.
3.2Verify Artists and Prevent Fraud
To help maintain a trusted marketplace, Payformers uses personal information to:
- Verify the identity of Artists;
- Confirm eligibility for Verified Artist status;
- Detect and prevent fraud, scams, identity theft, unauthorized access, and other unlawful activities;
- Investigate suspicious bookings or payment activity;
- Review reported violations of the Terms and Conditions;
- Investigate disputes, appeals, and complaints;
- Prevent abuse of reviews, badges, rankings, and other Platform features; and
- Protect the security and integrity of the Platform.
Where reasonably necessary, Payformers may request additional information or documentation to verify a User's identity or investigate suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity.
3.3Improve the Platform
We use personal information and Platform usage information to improve our services by:
- Analyzing Platform performance;
- Understanding how Users interact with the Platform;
- Improving search functionality;
- Developing new features;
- Improving booking experiences;
- Enhancing fraud prevention systems;
- Improving customer support;
- Troubleshooting technical issues; and
- Improving Platform reliability, security, and overall User experience.
Where reasonably practicable, information used for analytics, reporting, and product improvement will be aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified.
3.4Recommendations, Search Results, and Platform Features
To improve the User experience, Payformers may use personal information and Platform activity to personalize certain Platform features.
This may include using information such as:
- Artist verification status;
- Service categories;
- Location;
- Availability;
- Booking history;
- Reviews and ratings;
- Badge eligibility;
- Completed bookings;
- Profile completeness; and
- Other information relevant to providing a trusted marketplace.
This information may be used to:
- Recommend Artists to Clients;
- Display relevant search results;
- Determine eligibility for Featured Artist placements;
- Display Verified Artist status;
- Award badges such as Rising Star, Elite Artist, or other recognition programs;
- Improve booking recommendations; and
- Enhance other marketplace features.
These automated processes are designed to improve Platform quality and do not replace human review where required.
Payformers may modify or discontinue these systems as the Platform evolves.
3.5Communicate with You
We may use your personal information to send:
- Account verification messages;
- Booking confirmations;
- Booking Request updates;
- Booking acceptance notifications;
- Payment confirmations;
- Payout notifications;
- Security alerts;
- Service announcements;
- Customer support responses;
- Booking reminders;
- Changes to our Platform, Terms, or Privacy Policy; and
- Other communications necessary for the operation of the Platform.
These communications are considered essential to the operation of your account and cannot generally be opted out of while maintaining an active account.

- Product updates;
- Surveys;
- Marketing campaigns;
- Educational content;
- New Platform features; and
- Other promotional communications.
You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided or by updating your notification preferences where available.
Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent Payformers from sending essential operational, security, legal, or transactional communications.
3.7Comply with Legal Obligations

- Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- Respond to lawful requests from courts, government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement authorities;
- Enforce our Terms and Conditions;

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on:

- Legitimate interests pursued by Payformers or our Users, provided such interests do not override the rights and freedoms of the data subject;

Where consent is the legal basis for processing, Users may withdraw their consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limitations.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before consent was withdrawn.

Payformers respects your privacy and does not sell your personal information.
We share personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, facilitate bookings, process payments, comply with legal obligations, protect the rights and safety of our Users, or where otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
4.1Between Clients and Artists
To facilitate confirmed bookings and the successful delivery of services, Payformers may share certain personal information between the Client and the Artist.
The information shared depends on the stage of the booking process and is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the performance of the booking.
Before Booking Confirmation
Prior to confirmation of a booking, the Platform generally displays only limited profile information necessary for Clients to evaluate Artists and their services.
This may include:
- Stage name;
- Profile photograph;
- Biography;
- Talent categories;
- Portfolio media;
- Service Packages;
- Talent Fees;
- Reviews and ratings;
- Badge status;
- Approximate service location; and
- Other publicly available profile information.
Personal contact information and sensitive payment information are not shared during this stage.
After Booking Confirmation
Once a booking has been confirmed, Payformers may share additional information reasonably necessary to perform the booking, including:
- Full name where necessary;
- Event details;
- Event date and schedule;
- Venue or event location;
- Booking requirements;
- Special instructions;
- Booking Chat communications; and
- Other information reasonably necessary to complete the booked service.
Payformers limits the disclosure of personal information to only what is necessary for the successful completion of the booking.
4.2Service Providers
Payformers may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers that assist in operating and improving the Platform.
These providers may include companies that provide:
- Payment processing;
- Cloud hosting;
- Identity verification;
- Email delivery;
- SMS notifications;
- Mapping and location services;

Account information may be retained for as long as a User maintains an active account on the Platform.
Where an account is closed or deleted, Payformers may retain certain account information where reasonably necessary to:

- Prevent fraud or abuse;
- Resolve disputes;
- Enforce the Terms and Conditions;
- Maintain security records; or
- Protect the rights of Payformers or other Users.
5.2Booking and Transaction Records
Booking records may be retained after a booking has been completed or cancelled in order to:
- Maintain transaction histories;
- Process refunds or payouts;
- Resolve disputes;
- Investigate fraud;
- Support customer service;
- Comply with accounting, taxation, audit, and legal obligations; and
- Protect the integrity of the Platform.
This may include:
- Booking Requests;
- Booking confirmations;
- Booking status history;
- Payment records;
- Payout records;
- Refund records;
- Booking completion records;
- Reviews and ratings associated with completed bookings; and
- Other records reasonably necessary to administer Platform services.
5.3Identity Verification Information
Identity verification documents may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Verify identity;
- Prevent fraud;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Investigate suspected unlawful activity; or
- Resolve disputes relating to account ownership or Platform security.
Where legally permitted, verification documents that are no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymized.
5.4Communications
Communications submitted through the Platform, including Booking Chat messages, customer support requests, reports, complaints, appeals, and dispute submissions, may be retained for purposes including:
- Customer support;
- Fraud prevention;

- Dispute resolution;

- Legal compliance; and
- Enforcement of the Terms and Conditions.
Although Booking Chat becomes read-only forty-eight (48) hours after the scheduled event, Payformers may retain chat records for a longer period where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, security, or regulatory purposes.
5.5Reviews and Ratings
Reviews and ratings may remain visible on the Platform after the completion of a booking to promote transparency and assist other Users in making informed booking decisions.
Where a review is removed because it violates the Terms and Conditions or applicable law, Payformers may retain an internal record of that review for fraud prevention, investigation, legal compliance, or audit purposes.
5.6Legal and Regulatory Retention
Certain personal information may be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by applicable law, including for purposes relating to:
- Taxation;
- Accounting;
- Financial reporting;
- Court proceedings;
- Regulatory investigations;
- Law enforcement requests;
- Fraud prevention; or
- Other legal obligations.
Where retention is no longer required, Payformers will securely dispose of the information using reasonable security measures.

Sensitive payment credentials processed directly by authorized payment providers are not stored by Payformers.

Users remain responsible for activities performed through their account unless unauthorized use results from Payformers' failure to implement reasonable security measures.

Accordingly, Payformers cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, cyberattacks, security breaches, or other unforeseen events will never occur.
Users acknowledge these inherent risks when using online services.
Nothing in this section limits Payformers' responsibility to implement reasonable security measures as required by applicable law.

- Other similar technologies necessary for Platform operations.
These technologies may be provided by Payformers or trusted third-party service providers acting on our behalf.

- Maintain secure login sessions;
- Authenticate Users;
- Remember account and preference settings;
- Improve Platform functionality;
- Analyze Platform performance and usage;
- Detect fraud and suspicious activity;

- Measure the effectiveness of Platform features; and
- Improve the overall User experience.
Where reasonably practicable, analytics information is aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified before being used for product improvement.
